The Six Thinking Hats: Discovering a Dynamic Strategy for Structured Brainstorming and Creative Problem Solving in Today’s Workplace

May 8th, 2018 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

More innovative brainstorming techniques = More effective problem-solving results!

Based on the creative & fun concept created by author Edward de Bono in his book “The Six Thinking Hats”, this session promotes the expectation that the most innovative ideas – as well as the most committed teamwork – are actually the result of developing different styles of thinking. This strategic system of collaboration demonstrates how these six different thinking styles can create even more innovative solutions than might have been generated without that connection.

Since starting her own business in 2005 as a Training Specialist & Motivational Speaker, Donna Rynda’s speaking engagements have included keynote addresses, conference sessions, and professional-development workshops for more than 125 state and national organizations --- including previous ATD & OKHR Conferences.

Before becoming her own boss, Donna worked for various organizations as a Human Resources Director and/or Training Manager for more than thirty years. Her last corporate employment was with Sonic Industries as a Field Training Specialist enabling her to spend 75% of her employment traveling throughout all the states west of Oklahoma.

All of Donna’s experiences and travels served as the inspiration to name her company MAKE IT MATTER! because she truly believes that

“no matter what we do, we all want to make it matter!”

The ATD Competency Model redefines the skills and knowledge required for talent development professionals to be successful now and in the future. This program embraces this model by focusing on Training Delivery and Integrated Talent Management.
