Marcus Smith is a Learning and Development Specialist with a total of nearly 20 years of dedicated service to the state of Oklahoma. He has experience across many types of training, but specializes in leadership and staff development, communication, and conflict management. He leverages an empathetic, people-first mindset to elevate every interaction. This approach consistently earns him a level of trust that helps the person or people across from him feel both heard and challenged. While he values data-driven results, Marcus finds his greatest professional fulfillment when a student achieves a "lightbulb moment" of genuine understanding. As a people person, Marcus naturally spends his personal time with family and friends, participating in community groups, and coaching youth soccer.
