OD Leader Position, Oklahoma City

My long time client is creating a new  position for their organization and the president is eager to hire and very supportive of the effort. He has a history of including Human Resources in all strategic initiatives and planning. He’s inclusive and very goal and action oriented. They do want it all!  Strong OD experience, T&D, HR, and at least some good exposure to recruiting processes.  Ideally this background was obtained in a manufacturing environment.  As an expert on organizational development you will be interacting with employees at all levels and multiple sites in creating a psychological safe infrastructure to affect culture and enhance capabilities.  This position will focus on training and programs that enable employees to do their best work and support team members to do the same.  This industry is highly regulated and safety oriented.

This position will be responsible for the design and execution of training and workforce plans and talent initiatives to support business strategy and operational objectives.  As a hands-on position this may involve the creation of not only programs but the actual drafting of policies, forms, job descriptions, processes and procedures, and training.  In exchange they offer a competitive compensation and benefits package and a dynamic and professional work environment where you will be able to make an impact! The senior leadership team has a good track record of mentoring and developing their direct reports.  Comp is in the $120k range plus a 20% bonus. This is work from home or office and reports to the Director of HR.  Initially there will be more in office and some travel to plants in OK, AR, LA.  The company has about 700 employees and over the last few years has been positioned to grow more than the industry standard.
